Dating apps put the burden entirely on you: the endless scrolling, the filtering, the guesswork of trying to figure out someone’s intentions from a photo and a bio. MoDS removes that burden. Instead of handing you a stack of profiles and wishing you luck, we build an environment where the work happens before you ever meet anyone. Members are screened, verified, and introduced to people who share their values, intentions, and relationship goals. No swiping. No algorithms. Registering as a member is free. You can create your profile, explore the community, and get a feel for what MoDS offers at no cost. As you move through the membership journey – completing your profile, getting verified, and accessing deeper features like Social Circles and private matchmaking – some levels involve a more structured process and, at the higher tiers, associated fees. But the first step costs you nothing except a few minutes and a willingness to show up differently than you have before.
A typical singles event is open to anyone, organized around a time and a place, and leaves everything else up to chance. Social Circles are the opposite of that.
Each Circle is a curated group of 6 to 20 eligible men and women, balanced by gender and thoughtfully matched on compatibility, values, and lifestyle – before anyone walks through the door. You’re not showing up to a room full of strangers with nothing in common. You’re being placed with people who have already cleared a meaningful bar for intentionality and fit.
That changes everything about how connection unfolds. It’s organic, low-pressure, and designed to let real chemistry surface naturally – without the noise that usually drowns it out.
Certified is the fourth level in the MoDS membership journey, and it’s where things get meaningfully deeper. To reach it, you’ll have completed your assessments and gone through a one-on-one interview with our team. That process gives us – and you – a much clearer picture of who you are, what you’re looking for, and whether MoDS can genuinely serve you well.
The path there moves through three earlier levels: Registered (your account is created), Authenticated (you’re verified as a real person), and Qualified (your profile is at least 80% complete). Certified sits one step below Verified, which is the highest level and the gateway to private matchmaking. Think of each level not as a hurdle, but as a signal – to yourself and to the community – that you’re serious about this.
Absolutely – and we’d love to hear from you. MoDS is built on the idea that a rising tide lifts all boats. Coaches, therapists, counselors, and community leaders are a meaningful part of that ecosystem. Not at all. While MoDS has strong roots in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Triangle – and our Triangle Social Circle serves that area specifically – the community and many of its resources are not limited by geography. Online experiences, educational content, and select community features are accessible regardless of where you live.
That said, some offerings like in-person Social Circles and local events are naturally place-based. If you’re outside the Triangle, we’d still encourage you to join, engage with the broader community, and stay connected as MoDS continues to grow. Where there’s enough interest in a new market, new Circles follow.
