Code of Conduct

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 · Wrendevu Ventures LLC

This is not a list of rules. It is a shared agreement – a collective commitment that every person who joins the MoDS community makes to every other person in it. Read it not as a set of restrictions, but as a description of the community you are choosing to be part of. If you can stand behind every word of it, you belong here.

Section 1

Our Community PhilosophyEvents

Modern Dating Solutions exists to create an environment where singles can connect, grow, and discover – safely, joyfully, and with dignity. The platform, the events, the Social Circles, the experiences: all of it is designed to support human connection at its best. But no design survives contact with people who refuse to honour it.

This Code of Conduct is the foundation that makes everything else possible. It is not enforced reluctantly or administered mechanically. It is lived – by the team, by Valdon personally, and by every member who calls this community home. When everyone holds this standard, the environment becomes what it was always meant to be: a place where people feel safe to be genuinely themselves, where fun and positivity are the default, and where the possibility of meaningful connection is real.

Joining MoDS means joining that standard. It is a privilege and a responsibility in equal measure.

Section 2

Respect as a Standard, Not a Request

Every member of this community – regardless of background, appearance, age, income, life stage, or relationship history – deserves to be treated with basic human dignity. This is not a nicety. It is a requirement of participation.

Respectful conduct means, at minimum:

  • Treating others as you would want to be treated – in person, in writing, and in how you speak about them when they are not present.
  • Accepting a “no” gracefully. Whether someone declines a conversation, a date, a follow-up, or an invitation, their answer is complete. It does not require justification, and it does not invite pressure, persistence, or retaliation.
  • Keeping physical and emotional boundaries. Touch that is not clearly welcomed is not acceptable. Emotional pressure, guilt, or manipulation are not acceptable.
  • Listening as much as you speak. Respect is not only about what you do – it is about how present and attentive you are to the people around you.
  • Honouring differences in communication styles, personality, and pace. Not everyone warms up instantly. Not everyone is effusive. Give people the space to show up in their own way.

The bar here is not “did I mean harm?” The bar is “did my conduct honour the dignity of the person I was interacting with?” Intent matters, but so does impact. Members who consistently cause harm regardless of intent will be held accountable regardless of their explanations.

Section 3

Tolerance, Acceptance & Diversity of Values

MoDS is home to people from every background, culture, faith, political perspective, lifestyle, and life philosophy. Members will encounter people who do not share their values, their goals, their preferences, or their worldview. That is not a problem to be solved. It is a feature of a community that takes inclusion seriously.

Tolerance within this community means:

  • You do not have to agree with someone to treat them with respect. Disagreement is healthy. Contempt is not.
  • You do not have to share someone’s values to honour their right to hold them. People with different political views, religious beliefs, relationship goals, dietary choices, or lifestyle preferences are all welcome here – and all equally entitled to dignity.
  • You are not required to date, befriend, or spend time with anyone you are not compatible with. Selectivity in your personal connections is entirely appropriate. Hostility, condescension, or mockery toward those you are not compatible with is not.
  • Discriminatory conduct is not tolerated. This includes discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, body size, socioeconomic background, or any other characteristic.
  • Language that demeans, stereotypes, or dehumanises any group – whether spoken at events, written in messages, or posted in community spaces – is a violation of this Code.
You came here to meet people. The breadth of who those people are is part of what makes this community worth belonging to. Approach that breadth with curiosity rather than judgment.
Section 4

Zero Tolerance: Violence

This section is non-negotiable. There are no mitigating circumstances, no second chances, and no exceptions. Violations result in immediate and permanent removal from all MoDS communities and events.

MoDS has an absolute zero-tolerance policy for violence in any form. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Physical violence of any kind – hitting, striking, shoving, grabbing, or any other physical contact intended to harm or intimidate.
  • Threats of violence – verbal, written, or implied – whether directed at a specific person or expressed generally.
  • Intimidation – conduct designed to make another person fear for their physical safety, including aggressive posturing, blocking exits, or stalking behaviour at or around events.
  • Property destruction – damaging venue property, another member’s belongings, or MoDS equipment.
  • Sexual violence or assault of any kind – including unwanted touching, coercion, or any non-consensual physical contact of a sexual nature.

Any member who witnesses or experiences violence at a MoDS event is encouraged to immediately notify a MoDS team member, venue staff, or law enforcement. MoDS will cooperate fully with any legal investigation arising from violent incidents at its events.

Section 5

Zero Tolerance: Recreational Drug Use

There Recreational drug use at MoDS events is strictly prohibited. This is a firm, permanent policy with no exceptions. Any member found to be under the influence of illegal substances or distributing drugs at or in connection with a MoDS event will be removed immediately and permanently.

MoDS events take place in social settings where the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of every participant is paramount. The presence of recreational drugs – whether used openly or covertly – poses a direct threat to that safety and to the culture of clarity and authenticity this community is built on.

This policy covers:

  • Illegal narcotics and controlled substances of any kind, consumed before or during MoDS events.
  • The distribution, sale, or facilitation of drug use in connection with any MoDS event, platform, or community space.
  • Attending events while visibly impaired by substances in a way that affects conduct, safety, or the experience of other attendees.

Alcohol, when served at a licensed venue hosting a MoDS event, is permitted within legal limits. Members are expected to drink responsibly and in a manner that does not impair their conduct or compromise the safety of others. Intoxication that leads to disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour is itself a violation of this Code.

Section 6

Privacy, Gossip & Reputation

What happens inside this community stays inside this community. This is not a policy preference – it is a foundational requirement of membership. The trust that makes genuine connection possible depends entirely on people knowing that what they share here will be treated with discretion and care.

Privacy obligations for all members include:

  • Confidentiality of personal information. Information shared by another member – their relationship history, family situation, health, finances, workplace, or personal struggles – is shared in trust and may not be repeated, forwarded, or discussed outside the community without that person’s explicit consent.
  • No screenshots or recordings. Members may not photograph, screenshot, screen-record, or otherwise capture content from MoDS community spaces, private messages, or event interactions without the express consent of all parties depicted or included.
  • No gossip. Repeating unverified information about another member – whether to other members, mutual contacts, or any third party – is a violation of this Code. If you have a genuine concern about another member’s conduct, bring it to the MoDS team directly. Do not circulate it.
  • No sharing of member profiles, photos, or contact information outside MoDS platforms without that member’s consent.
Deliberate reputation damage is a serious violation. Spreading rumours, innuendo, or unsubstantiated negative narratives about another member – whether based on personal grievance, rejection, or competitive motivation – is treated as a severe breach of community standards. This includes vague negative commentary designed to cast doubt (“I heard some things about them”) without specific, verifiable fact.
Section 7

Honesty, Fraud & Misrepresentation

This community is built on authenticity. Every experience, every circle, every event depends on members showing up as who they actually are. Deception within this community is not just a personal failing – it is a harm inflicted on every person who trusted the environment enough to be real themselves.

The following are violations of this Code:

  • Misrepresenting your identity – including using false names, falsified photos, fabricated professional or personal history, or impersonating another person.
  • Misrepresenting your relationship status or intentions – including concealing an existing partner, misrepresenting your commitment level, or pursuing community members for purposes inconsistent with what you have represented to the platform.
  • Financial fraud or deception of any kind directed at other members – including scams, false business representations, or solicitation under false pretences.
  • Using membership in this community to gain access to individuals for purposes unrelated to genuine social connection – including multi-level marketing recruitment, financial solicitation, or covert professional networking.
  • Creating or maintaining a fraudulent profile on the MoDS platform for any reason.
MoDS reserves the right to verify member information and to investigate suspected fraud. Members who discover they have been deceived by another member are encouraged to report it to the MoDS team rather than retaliate independently.
Section 8

False Accusations & Character Attacks

The same community that protects members from bad conduct also protects members from unfair attacks on their character. False or malicious accusations cause real harm – to reputations, to mental wellbeing, and to the fabric of trust that holds this community together.

  • False accusations – making claims about another member’s conduct that you know to be untrue, or that you have not verified with due care – are a violation of this Code and may constitute defamation under applicable law.
  • Character assassination – systematic efforts to damage another person’s reputation within the community, whether through exaggeration, selective disclosure, or coordinated negative framing – will result in removal from the platform.
  • Insinuation and innuendo – language designed to cast suspicion without making a direct claim (“I’m not saying anything, but…”) is treated with the same seriousness as direct false accusations. Vagueness does not reduce harm; it often amplifies it.
  • Weaponising the reporting process – filing complaints against another member for retaliatory or strategic purposes, rather than in good faith, is itself a violation.
If you have a genuine concern about another member’s behaviour, raise it with the MoDS team directly, specifically, and in good faith. Provide what you know. Allow the team to investigate. Do not take action unilaterally. The community’s safety depends on having a process that is both accessible and trustworthy.
Section 9

Digital Conduct & Social Media

The Code of Conduct applies everywhere – including online spaces, private messages, social media, and any digital platform where members interact in their capacity as MoDS community members.

  • Harassment via direct message – including unwanted contact after a member has requested to stop, excessive messaging, or using multiple channels to contact someone who has not responded – is a violation.
  • Posting negative, identifying, or embarrassing content about another member on any social media platform, whether or not that content is technically accurate, is a violation.
  • Sharing or amplifying negative content about a MoDS member or event in public forums is a violation, and may carry additional legal consequences where defamation or privacy law applies.
  • Coordinated online attacks – enlisting others to pile on, report, or target a member – are treated as a group violation with consequences for all participants.
Section 10

Reporting & Accountability

No community standard means anything without a process for upholding it. MoDS takes reports seriously, investigates thoroughly, and acts decisively. This works because members use the process honestly and in good faith.

To report a concern:

  • Contact the MoDS team directly at moderndatingsolutions@gmail.com
  • Provide as much specific detail as possible – what happened, when, where, and who was involved.
  • If there is an immediate safety concern at a live event, speak to a MoDS team member or venue staff on-site.

All reports are handled with discretion. The identity of the person reporting will be protected where possible. Retaliation against anyone who makes a good-faith report is a serious violation of this Code and will be treated accordingly.

MoDS will acknowledge all reports and communicate next steps within five business days of receipt.

Section 11

Consequences for Violations

Violations of this Code are taken seriously and addressed proportionally, with the wellbeing of the community as the primary consideration. Consequences may include:

  • A formal warning – for first-time or lower-severity violations where the member demonstrates genuine accountability.
  • Suspension from events – temporary removal from specific event types or community spaces while a situation is investigated or resolved.
  • Permanent removal from the MoDS platform – for serious violations, repeated violations, or any conduct falling under the zero-tolerance provisions of Sections 4 or 5.
  • Referral to law enforcement – in cases of violence, criminal fraud, sexual assault, or other conduct that rises to the level of a criminal matter.

MoDS reserves the right to make membership decisions at its sole discretion in order to protect the safety and integrity of the community. No refund of membership fees or event costs will be issued to members removed for violations of this Code.

Section 12

The Spirit of This Agreement

Rules can only go so far. What makes a community truly safe, truly joyful, and truly worth belonging to is the character of its members – their willingness to show up with genuine care for the people around them, even when no one is watching and nothing is being enforced.

MoDS is built for people who want that kind of community. Who are tired of environments where they have to be guarded, performative, or constantly managing the impression they’re making. Who want to walk into a room and actually be present – because they trust that the room is worth being present in.

This Code exists to protect that. Every time you uphold it, you contribute to an environment that makes real connection more likely – for you, and for everyone else who chose to be here.

We are glad you’re here. Hold the standard. And enjoy what becomes possible when everyone does.
