Model Release & Media Policy

Modern Dating Solutions creates events worth remembering. Sometimes we photograph and record them – to document what’s possible when people come together with intention, and to show the world what this community actually looks like. This policy explains how we do that, what rights you have, and what you can realistically expect from us.

Section 1

Why We Capture Events

Modern Dating Solutions organises events, Social Circles, and community experiences that represent the very best version of what intentional connection can look like. We photograph and record those moments for several reasons:

Marketing and promotion – to show prospective members, partner businesses, and the broader community what MoDS events actually feel like, not just what they sound like on a page.
Community documentation – to create a record of the community’s growth, energy, and culture over time.
Content creation – to produce materials for the MoDS website, social media channels, email communications, and promotional campaigns.
Press and media relations – to provide imagery and footage to press outlets or partner organisations that may feature MoDS.

Section 2

What We May Record or Photograph

At any MoDS event where photography or video recording is taking place, the following types of content may be captured:

General event atmosphere – wide shots of venues, spaces, and the overall energy of gatherings.
Group interactions – candid moments of members engaging with one another, participating in activities, or enjoying the event environment.
Individual participants – attendees who are visible and present within the event space, whether or not they are the primary subject of a shot.
MoDS team members and speakers – staff, facilitators, Valdon, and any guest contributors at events.
Event-specific content – food, décor, venue details, signage, and other elements of the experience.

Please note: Simply being present at a MoDS event means you may appear in photographs or video recordings. This is a natural consequence of participating in a social, in-person gathering. We do our best to be thoughtful about what we capture and how we use it, but your presence at an event constitutes implicit awareness that recording may occur.

Section 3

How We Use Media Assets

Media captured at MoDS events may be used in the following ways:

The MoDS website – including landing pages, blog posts, and the community section.
Social media platforms – including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and any other platforms MoDS uses now or in the future.
Email newsletters and communications to the MoDS member base and interested prospects.
Paid advertising – including digital ads on social media platforms, search engines, and partner networks.
Press materials and media kits – for journalists, bloggers, or media partners covering MoDS.
Partner and sponsor communications – shared with partner businesses and organisations that are part of the MoDS ecosystem.
Presentations and public speaking – used by Valdon or MoDS representatives in professional settings.

MoDS will not sell individual photographs of identifiable members to third parties for uses unrelated to the promotion of the MoDS community or its associated events and services.

Section 4

Your Right to Request Exclusion

We understand that not everyone is comfortable being photographed or recorded, and we respect that. If you would prefer not to be included in media captured at a MoDS event, you have the right to make that request.

How to request exclusion:

In advance of the event – contact us at moderndatingsolutions@gmail.com before the event date, identifying the specific event and your preference.
At the event – speak directly to a MoDS team member or the photographer/videographer present. We will make note of your request and do our best to ensure you are not the focus
After the event – see Section 8 regarding removal requests for content already captured.

We want to honour every request. Our goal is to make every member feel comfortable, respected, and in control of their own image. We take these requests seriously and will make genuine, good-faith efforts to accommodate them wherever we reasonably can.

Section 5

Our Commitment to Honouring Requests

Modern Dating Solutions is committed to treating every member with dignity, and that includes respecting their preferences around media capture. When you ask us not to photograph or record you, we will:

Acknowledge the request and take it seriously.
Communicate it to any photographer or videographer operating at the event on our behalf.
Make reasonable operational efforts to ensure you are not deliberately included as the subject of captures.
Review captured content where feasible to remove clearly identifiable images of members who have requested exclusion before publication.

We make this commitment genuinely, not performatively. The relationship between MoDS and its members is built on trust, and that trust extends to how we handle your image.

That said, we must also be honest about the practical realities of live event photography and videography, which are addressed in Section 6.

Section 6

Limitation of Liability

Please read this section carefully. It addresses the limits of what MoDS can guarantee, even when acting in complete good faith.

Live events are dynamic, real-time environments. Photography and videography at social gatherings involve wide-angle shots, candid moments, and general crowd coverage that cannot always be precisely controlled in real time. Because of this, MoDS cannot and does not guarantee that any individual member will not appear in any photograph or video recording taken at a MoDS event – even if that member has made a request not to be recorded.

Specifically:

Background appearances. Even when a photographer is actively trying to avoid capturing a specific person, that person may appear incidentally in the background of a wide-angle shot, group photograph, or continuous video recording.
Third-party devices. MoDS cannot control what other attendees photograph or record on their personal devices, though our community conduct policies restrict members from sharing such content publicly.
Communication delays. In fast-moving social environments, it is not always possible to communicate a request to every person with a camera before a moment is captured.
Human error. Despite best efforts, mistakes can occur. A team member may not recall or communicate a request in time.

Wrendevu Ventures LLC and Modern Dating Solutions will not be held legally liable for the incidental appearance of any event attendee in photography or video content where a good-faith effort to honour that person’s exclusion request was made. Our obligation is to make that good-faith effort – not to guarantee a perfect outcome in the imperfect conditions of a live social event.

We will always do our best. We owe you that. But we ask that you understand the practical limits of what “best” can guarantee in a live environment.

Section 7

Third-Party Photography at Events

Please read this section carefully. It addresses the limits of what MoDS can guarantee, even when acting in complete good faith.

Occasionally, MoDS events are held at venues that maintain their own photography and social media practices, or are attended by press and media representatives who are not operating under MoDS’s direct supervision. In these cases:

MoDS will communicate our media policy to venue partners and designated press contacts where possible.
MoDS cannot control, and is not liable for, photography or recording conducted by venue staff, independent media, or other attendees on their personal devices.
Members who are approached by press or media at a MoDS event are under no obligation to participate and may decline to be photographed or interviewed.

Members who observe another attendee photographing or recording in a way that makes them uncomfortable are encouraged to raise the concern with a MoDS team member on-site.

Section 8

Removal Requests After the Fact

If you become aware that an image or video in which you appear has been published by MoDS and you wish to request its removal, please contact us at moderndatingsolutions@gmail.com with:

Your name and membership details.
A description or link to the specific content in question.
The reason for your removal request.

MoDS will review all removal requests within ten business days and will respond with a decision and next steps. We will honour removal requests where doing so is reasonable and does not significantly compromise the integrity of the asset (for example, where you appear as the clear primary subject of an image).

For content where you appear incidentally in a crowd or background, removal may not always be technically feasible, and MoDS reserves the right to make this determination on a case-by-case basis, always with good faith as the guiding principle.

Section 9

Your Consent Upon Registration

By registering as a member of Modern Dating Solutions and attending any MoDS event, you acknowledge that:

You have read and understood this Model Release and Media Policy.
You understand that photography and video recording may occur at MoDS events.
You understand that your image may appear in media produced by MoDS for marketing, promotional, or community documentation purposes.
You understand that while MoDS will make good-faith efforts to honour requests for exclusion, it cannot guarantee that you will not appear in any captured media.
You understand that Wrendevu Ventures LLC will not be held liable for the incidental appearance of your image in media where good-faith accommodation efforts were made.

This consent is granted for the duration of your membership and covers all MoDS events you attend unless you have made a specific, documented opt-out request as described in Section
